Behind the camera
We asked airBaltic’s employees to share images from their favourite destinations – postcard-like photos they’ve taken themselves – and tell us what inspires them the most.
Meet Edgars Fusa, our NDT Inspector Assistant!
Edgar Fusa began his career at airBaltic as a cabin crew member, which inspired him to start travelling. It also sparked his interest in airplanes, and very recently he moved to the technical department to become an NDT inspector*.
His hobby of photography, which involves capturing stunning natural landscapes, fascinating architecture, and simple images of everyday life, goes hand in hand with travelling.

Norway is undoubtedly a paradise for those who love mountains. But Edgar is also drawn to Norwegian architecture and the country’s hospitable people.

Edgar lived in Norway for quite some time, and it was there that he came to understand the Norwegian philosophy of friluftsliv, which means spending time in nature as a way of life.
Fusa associates North Macedonia more with its beautiful nature parks. After spending a long time exploring them, he also eagerly enjoyed the local cuisine.
Madeira is Edgar’s favourite destination in Europe. It’s a very small yet diverse island, where one can find steep mountains as well as tropical jungles with waterfalls. He has already been there four times but would gladly return.
