Every day under the wings, our skilled Technical Team provides the highest-quality aviation maintenance, ensuring safe and seamless flights for our passengers. With the recent addition of our 47th Airbus A220-300 aircraft and ambitious plans to expand to 50 by the end of this year, we’re thrilled to unveil exciting new openings for passionate individuals to become part of our team. airBaltic plans to operate a fleet of one hundred A220-300s by 2030.

Aleksandrs Baškirovs embarked on his journey with airBaltic as an intern 20 years ago. Within a year, he had secured a permanent position as a maintenance technician, and over the following years, he completed all the necessary examinations and obtained an aircraft maintenance license. Now he works as a troubleshooter, identifying, diagnosing, and solving various issues in several different aircraft systems. When asked about his enduring commitment to airBaltic, Baškirovs says that every day brings new puzzles to solve and adventures to pursue: ‘Witnessing the tangible results of my efforts, such as seeing an aircraft I’ve fixed take off into the air, is incredibly rewarding. Plus, good communication with colleagues adds another layer of enjoyment to the job.’
From engineering and maintenance to planning and logistics, the Technical Team offers a wide range of opportunities for seasoned professionals and aspiring enthusiasts alike. We’re currently seeking more than 40 people to join us in roles such as mechanics, technicians, coordinators, and planners.
